Hi, I'm the owner and founder of Body Mechanix Personal Training and have been a personal trainer for 6 years. One thing you have to understand about me is I'm not perfect nor do I pretend to be. I do not have a six-pack, I enjoy a beer and my favourite food is a lovely char-grilled New York Sirloin with mashed potatoes and bernaise sauce. So you ask, why am I telling you this? As the owner of Body Mechanix, and as a trainer, I take deep pride when helping the clients of Body Mechanix reach their goals but I am also human. The journey you'll take with myself and my team of trainers can be challenging with many hurdles to conquer along the way. We understand that life in general can make things difficult but our aim is to educate you with enough information to make the right choices. Making mistakes is part of the process. So if you're wanting to train with my team just remember; we're on this journey with you....all of the way, warts and all. Like the trainers that I have working at Body Mechanix I have a deep passion for the health and fitness industry. I successfully completed my Certificate 3 - Fitness Instructor and also my Certificate 4 - Personal Trainer through the AIF (Australian Institute of Fitness) in 2006, and in case you were wondering I hold current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificates. As part of my continual development I have completed numerous other courses to further my skills. These courses include: Punchfit Instructor (boxing), Thump (boxing), Advanced Postural Analysis and Advanced Exercise Perscription. I am presently studying for a Diploma of Fitness to expand my current knowledge. Registration with Fitness Australia is compulsory at Body Mechanix and my registration is current to 2012.
